In the medical field, non-woven swabs is a basic consumable used frequently, with its core function centered around "ensuring wound safety and assisting nursing operations", especially suitable for wound care and medical operation needs:

• Wound cleaning and disinfection: Take one piece of sterile non-woven swab, soak it in physiological saline or medical iodine (wring it to half dry, no dripping is recommended), gently wipe the blood scabs and dirt around the wound, pay attention to "spiral wiping from the center of the wound outward", and avoid repeated friction of the wound; If disinfection is required, dip an appropriate amount of alcohol (only for intact skin around the wound, do not directly wipe the wound), apply evenly, and wait for it to dry;

• Wound protection: If the wound is small (such as minor abrasions), a sterile non-woven fabric sheet can be directly taken to cover the wound, and then fixed with medical tape or breathable bandage to avoid displacement; If there is a small amount of exudate from the wound, a layer of more absorbent medical cotton pad can be placed under the non-woven swabs to enhance the suction effect. It should be replaced 1-2 times a day with gentle movements to avoid tearing the wound;

• Auxiliary isolation: When changing dressing, a sterile non-woven swab can be placed under the wound to receive exudate or medication, keeping the operating area clean; During diagnosis and treatment, non-woven swabs can also be placed locally on the bed as a temporary isolation layer to prevent direct skin contact with the bed surface
