Usage
Open the sterile pouch and take out the mask. Check the clear film, one-way valve and filter for damage.
Place the shield completely over the patient’s mouth and nose, ensuring a tight seal around the edges.
Put your mouth over the one-way valve port, pinch the patient’s nostrils closed to prevent air leakage.
Deliver rescue breaths: blow slowly for 1 second, watch the chest rise gently. Avoid over-breathing.
Remove and discard after use. Avoid direct mouth-to-mouth contact at all times.
