1. Joint parts (such as knee joint, elbow joint): 8-shaped bandage+"functional position fixation"
Knee joint: Maintain a slight flexion (5 ° -10 °, similar to natural bending when standing), first wrap it in a circular loop below the knee (upper leg) for 2 times to fix it, then wrap it diagonally around the inner side of the knee, wrap it above the knee to the outer side, forming an "8" shape, covering 1/2 of the previous loop with each loop, and finally fix it in a circular loop above the knee;
Elbow joint: Maintain a 90 degree bend (similar to the "raising your hand to support your cheek" posture), starting from below the elbow joint (upper forearm), diagonally circling around the back of the elbow joint, and then circling forward to the outside of the forearm, forming an "8" shape to avoid compressing the blood vessels and nerves inside the elbow joint.
2. Head (such as forehead and top wounds): return type+circular fixation
Forehead wound: starting from behind the ear, wrap the bandage in a circular pattern 2 times, fold it back over the forehead wound, cover the wound and pull it back behind the ear, repeatedly fold it back until it covers the entire wound, and finally fix it in a circular pattern behind the ear (to avoid the bandage covering the eyes and ears);
Top wound: Starting from the middle of the forehead, wrap the bandage back around the occipital bone, fold it back to cover the top wound, then pull it back and fold it back repeatedly (similar to a "cross"), and finally fix it in a circular shape behind the ear to ensure that the wound is completely covered and does not affect head movement.
3. Fingers/toes (such as fingertip scratches, paronychia): return type+"expose fingertips"
Fingertip wound: First, wrap the bandage around the base of the finger in a circular pattern for 2 times to fix it. Fold the bandage back towards the fingertip, covering half of the previous fold with each fold until the entire fingertip wound is covered. Finally, fix it in a circular pattern at the base, making sure to expose the tip of the fingertip (for easy observation of blood circulation and to avoid turning purple);
Attention: After wrapping the fingers, they should be kept slightly bent (similar to holding a pen) to avoid straightening and fixing, which may cause joint stiffness.
